The Science Bit

The studio comprises:

• a custom-built acoustically treated vocal booth,

• a RØDE NT1 5th Generation large-diaphragm microphone,

• a Steinberg UR44 audio interface with Yamaha D-PRE preamps,

• Audio Technica ATH-M50x headphones (with googly eyes),

• M-Audio AV30 active studio monitors,

• Reaper DAW on PC.

I've been a musician pretty much all my life, and I've been writing, playing, recording, and producing my own music live and in the studio for the last thirty-something years. This has given me the know-how and the experience to produce high quality audio in a studio that has grown with me and around me.
